Monumental and historic, ‘Casa Arca’ is a restaurant located in one of the most heritage-significant houses in the heart of San Miguel de Allende.
Our design was inspired by the craftsmanship of traditional Mexican kitchens and the zoomorphic iconography of this historic facade, creating a vibrant space full of contrasts. It was carefully designed to embody a relaxed and welcoming personality, connecting us with the folklore and regional architecture of the Bajío region in Mexico.
The handcrafted animal figures that inhabit the space pay tribute to Isaac Cohen and the building’s main facade, famously known as Noah’s Ark.
